Twelve of you, five ensuites, and a rooftop that makes the evening the best part of the day.
Start the morning with coffee beside the rooftop jacuzzi, watching the light come up over Tamarindo Bay. End it at the fire pit with the grill going and the whole group up on the terrace. Penthouse 302 at Tamarindo 360 is built for a big family or two families traveling together: five bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bath, spread over two levels, with a private rooftop that works as the group's living room.
Inside, high ceilings and an open plan keep things bright. The main living area holds a lounge with TV and mini bar, a dining table for 10, and a fully equipped kitchen: KitchenAid cooktop and oven, dishwasher, Cuisinart coffee maker, Ninja blender and air fryer, and 12 place settings so nobody eats in shifts. Off the living room, the main balcony has its own dining table for eight, rope chairs, ceiling fans and a gas grill. A laundry room with washer and dryer, a garment steamer and a guest powder room round out the level.
Four of the five bedrooms share the same formula: a private ensuite bath, blackout blinds, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The master has a king bed, a soaking tub and a safe. The second bedroom has a queen. The third has a queen plus a twin trundle. The fourth has two queens. The fifth bedroom sits up on the rooftop level beside the terrace, with a full-over-twin bunk and its own bath, and there's a half bath by the rooftop grill so nobody tracks through the house. The home sleeps 12 comfortably.
The rooftop is the reason to book. A private jacuzzi, a fire pit table, a round dining table for eight, five bar stools, loungers and a 75" TV, plus a Napoleon grill with an ice maker, mini fridge and wine cooler at hand. Dinner up here, with the bay below and the breeze coming off the Pacific, is the moment you'll plan the day around.
The whole penthouse is yours. The pool is shared with the Tamarindo 360 community (there's a separate kids' pool), and it's a short walk down from the unit. Two parking spaces are included, the community has 24/7 security, and the guard will point you to your spots on arrival. Check-in is self-service: your access code and arrival instructions arrive three days before you land. Your TLV concierge is a message away for airport transfers, private drivers, tours, restaurant bookings, grocery pre-stocking and in-villa chef dinners. Stays of seven nights or more include a mid-stay clean.
Tamarindo 360 sits on a hill above the bay, about a 12-minute walk down to Playa Tamarindo, where the surf lessons, beachfront restaurants, shops and the night market are. Playa Langosta, the quieter beach around the point, is a few minutes by car. Liberia International Airport (LIR) is roughly 1 hour 15 minutes away, with direct flights from Atlanta, Houston, Miami and Los Angeles. A rental car is handy for day trips, though you can do Tamarindo itself on foot.
A few honest notes. The home is on two levels plus the rooftop, so expect stairs. Air conditioning is in every bedroom; the living areas run on ceiling fans and the breeze. The pool is a community amenity, not private. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 7 am, no parties or events, maximum 12 guests including visitors, no smoking indoors, and no glass at the jacuzzi (a shatterproof set is provided for the rooftop). Holiday bookings are non-refundable and may carry minimum stays.
